I worked with Close for just under a year helping improve their reporting, branding, copy, email, and feature launches.
Close is a small company that aims to serve small companies and startups. I experimented with “fake NYT full page ads” to try and tease out copy and tone for positioning Close as the “underdog you should love”.
Video Teaser Campaign
As part of a product launch for a new feature — predictive dialling — I conceived and produced a teaser campaign fronted by this short video.
Close has a large subscriber base with, when I began working with them, little automation and little focus on product marketing. I mapped out a lead nurturing campaign (see diagram below) and participated in webinars advising customers on good email practice.
As part of a pricing change I wrote and guided the research for announcements and comparison pages to other similar products.
